Who needs to take the IELTS?

IELTS are also often a pre-requisite for entrance to some Singaporean educational institutions. The test measures the test-taker's ability to read, listen, speak and write in English. The level of English tested is considered appropriate for University Level. Certain foreign/international training programs and U.K. visa applications may require the IELTS. The Academic version is generally required for university/college admissions. The General version is primarily undertaken for training programs, secondary school admissions, and for immigration purposes.  Please check with your institution for specific requirements.

Who is the official test administrator?
